Older adults, disabled, and/or homeless individuals may use CalFresh benefits to purchase meals at restaurants

CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program

The CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program (RMP) allows CalFresh recipients who are homeless, senior (age 60 or older), and/or disabled, to use CalFresh benefits to purchase prepared meals at participating restaurants using their Electronic Benefit Transfer(EBT) card. Local restaurants participating in the program will display a sign on their door or window indicating they are a CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program location. To learn more about the program, visit the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) RMP webpage for more information.
